Rotator Cuff Injuries

n5550551A very common cause of shoulder complaints, the pain, weakness and decreased mobility that is usually associated with this injury may be addressed using acupuncture. The rotator cuff muscle group consists of four muscles:  supraspinatus, infraspinatus, Subscapularis and Teres minor. These muscles help stabilize the arm in the shoulder joint and initiate movements. When one or more of these muscles become damaged, pain and weakness are common symptoms. Acupuncture is well suited to address the symptoms stemming from this injury.
