Naturopathic Medicine is more than alternative, it's fully encompassing. It's not supplemental, it's front-line. When you are feeling sick, come see Dr. Rachel, not just to get better, but to understand the foundation of your illness. When you need personalized healthcare to meet the specific nuances of your body, come see Dr. Rachel. When you need your annual physical, visit the same person who knows your whole body and can sense where tune-ups are needed. When you need to navigate the larger hospital systems for specialist consultations, let Dr. Rachel lead the way so you can get the most clarity and the best treatments. When you're feeling in a fog, uncertain of how to take the next pivotal step in reaching your health goals, talk to Dr. Rachel.

Facilitating and educating people about the health and physiology of their own bodies and the medical world we navigate through is the foundation of Dr. Rachel's practice. She is here to help you learn how to make healthy choices in order to take better care of your body all on your own. She is a guide, a teacher, a facilitator and a counselor to each person who walks into her office, supporting you in making the changes you want to make. The focus is on diet and lifestyle counseling, nutritional and herbal supplementation, hydrotherapy, homeopathic and craniosacral therapy to help your body's transformation toward health.

Passionate about working with women, families and kids, especially teenagers, Dr. Rachel enjoys a full family practice. Teens often don't understand how their bodies work and are not always willing to talk to their parents about their questions and concerns. She can assist that conversation. Women's health is her specialty, treating common conditions such as cramps, PMS, menopause, abnormal PAPs and cervical dysplasia with less invasive techniques. Above all else, she is a family doctor, available to guide and inspire people to live a healthier and more heartful life.

Dr. Rachel brings order to the chaos of treatment. She spends the time to get to know you and all of your concerns. I can’t thank her enough for her genuine insight, caring, and wealth of knowledge. Also, for those of you who might be on the fence about whether or not a ND is as useful as a MD, I was with you until I worked with Dr. Rachel. She is *not* afraid to send me to other doctors and doesn’t think all western medicine is wrong. She gives a very balanced and fair approach to medicine. One last thing, last year, Dr. Rachel was the first doctor to accurately diagnosis and help my partner. My partner had seen a number of other doctors and all of them missed the problem. Thanks to Dr. Rachel’s slow and steady approach to medicine, my partner is actually getting better. — N.K. 11/1/2010

I used to go to see Dr. Bill Mitchell, ND, a co-founder of Bastyr University. When Bill passed, I looked around closer to home (Madison Valley), and found Dr. Rachel at Glow Therapeutic Health. She is a very positive, dedicated primary care doctor who maintains ties with other doctors around the area so that she is able to bring to bear a larger, collective experience if she’s not getting the results she expects. I think very highly of her work, and am pleased to recommend her! — T.O. 10/26/10
