West Seattle

Danielle is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Dietitian in the state of Washington. She holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University and completed her dietetic internship program through Sea Mar Community Health Center in Seattle, WA.

After working at Sea Mar Community Health Center as a WIC nutritionist, long-term care dietitian and outpatient nutrition counselor, she left to start a family and finally engage in her real passion — starting a private practice to serve clients in South Seattle. Additionally she also spent time in recent years working as a WIC nutritionist at Swedish Medical Center in downtown Seattle and as a clinic shift supervisor at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health.

While Danielle works in all areas of nutrition counseling, she specializes in uncovering and treating food sensitivities, nutrition care for diabetes, digestive disorders (GERD, IBS, Crohn’s) cardiovascular disease, weight loss, pregnancy, infants/children, and general wellness. She is certified as a LEAP/MRT Therapist, giving her access to the most accurate and successful treatment options for food sensitivities.

Also, as a strong believer in families working together for health, she has a passion for helping families establish healthy habits with food and encouraging them to work together to ensure optimal nutrition and lifestyle patterns. She has successfully counseled children and adolescents, along with their parents, in the areas of weight control and disease prevention.

In her spare time, when not entertaining her two busy little boys, Danielle loves writing, reading anything related to food, baking and devising plans for the next family vacation. Read more about Danielle on her website.
