About Chiropractic

Chiropractic medicine treats acute and chronic disease as it affects the neuromusculoskeletal system. Emphasis is placed on getting to the cause of the problem, appropriate rehabilitaion and prevention. Incorporated into treatment plans are spinal and extremity adjusting, manual soft tissue therapies, neuromuscular re-education, rehabilitive excercise counseling, nutritional counseling and ergonomics.

Initial Intensive and Relief Care

Most patients consult our office because they have an ache or pain. Their goal? Relief. That’s our first objective. A thorough examination reveals areas of spinal dysfunction. Then, we offer a care plan designed to give you the best results in the shortest amount of time.

If an ache, pain or other obvious symptom has prompted you to begin chiropractic care, the first thing you want is to feel better. Office visits will be frequent and your adjustments may be combined with other procedures to help offer relief. Depending on your age, condition, and lifestyle, repeated visits over weeks or months may be needed to reduce or eliminate your symptoms.

Corrective Care & Decision Time

Muscle and other soft tissue damage often remain after your original symptoms have improved. Corrective care stabilizes your spine and promotes more complete healing. Visit frequency is reduced and you may be encouraged to supplment your care with exercises or other self-care procedures. With your ache or pain gone, more complete healing can occur. Stopping care now may risk a relapse. Whatever your choice, we’re here to serve and help support your decision.

Elective or Wellness Care

When maximum improvement is reached, periodic chiropractic “check-ups” are recommended. These wellness visits can detect and help correct new problems before they become serious. Health-conscious adults choose this type of care for themselves and their children. Like other preventative measures, elective or wellness care can save time and money by helping you stay well. Invest in your health. You’re worth it!
